A nice turbo for the 2004+ JDM STI with around 400+WHP on tap. Additional mods should include Perrin EBCS, Process West TMIC, ID850 Injectors

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R is a little tweak to our already popular Dom 2.5XT-R. (As I have mentioned before, we are never satisfied with status quo and we are always tweaking something). Originally designed for our 2.0L customers in the UK, the Dom 1.5XT-R uses the Garrett GT 56.5mm turbine instead of the full 60mm turbine of the Dom 2.5XT-R. The end result is a slightly quicker spooling turbo while trading off some high RPM horsepower capability.

Beyond the turbine wheel, the Dom 1.5XT-R consists of the same cutting edge turbo technology that you have come to expect from Blouch Performance Turbo: Blouch billet fully-machined closed die forged 49 lb/min XT-R compressor wheel with state-of-the-art aero, our own custom compressor housing machined in-house and designed for improved fitment, Garrett GT ball bearing center housing and Blouch custom 10cm2 turbine housing with adjustable upgrade actuator.

No boost creep worries here with the smaller turbine - our turbine housing and wastegate actuator are designed to work together to ease your tuner's job and provide the flattest possible boost curve. All of this complete with turbo mounting gaskets, oil feed restrictor, braided stainless steel turbo oil feed line, oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts and copper washers. Only at BPT!

At Blouch Performance Turbo, we are never satisfied with status quo. In our opinion, not innovating is equivalent to moving backwards in the performance turbocharger market. With this in mind, Blouch Performance Turbo took another look at the already stellar performance of the Dominator 3.0R and applied state-of-the-art technology to make it even better.

The first thing we did was address turbine inlet pressure with a superior flowing and better fitting turbine housing than the already successful 8cm2 design. We settled on a 10cm2 design that could be applied to both our journal bearing and ball bearing Subaru products. In order to ensure that quality control meets our standards and we have flexibility to serve our customers, the Blouch 10 cm2 castings are machined in-house on our own CNC equipment.

The next area we addressed was compressor performance and the decision was made to apply our already successful fully-machined billet compressor technology to the Dominator 3.0R. The result is a stonger yet lighter compressor wheel that looks awesome, but more importantly outperforms conventional compressor technologies hands down due to superior aerodynamics.

So did we meet our objectives? You bet we did! The new and improved Dominator 3.0 XT-R is unparalleled in Subaru bolt-on performance with quick spool, great boost control for a nice broad flat torque curve and 550 crank horsepower capability while maintaining a standard 2.360" compressor inlet dimension without any compressor surge. The big deal is a stock location bolt-on upgrade Subaru turbocharger using state-of-the-art technology that supports 580ank horsepower efficiently with fitment that is unparalleled in the industry. NOTE: The Dominator 3.5XT-R is a bolt-on upgrade that requires a 3" inlet. Blouch Turbo requires TGV deletes to be used with this turbo and strongly recommends an external gate to achieve maximum performance.
