Please note that Starting Tuned/PT Maps v1 & v2 does not allow you to jump straight into Stage 1.

The maps have not be adjust to compensate for the additional power when boost is increase. Stage 1 tuning is an almost complete retuning process to acheive Stage 1 results.

Depending on the car and time taken, Stage 1 tunes are optimised for stage 1. There are some instants where a car will be tuned for slightly higher boost and then detuned to Stage 1 requirements, where by give the tune enough room for customer mods that pushes the boost slight higher. Example, adding a down-pipe, exhaust change and so forth.

Customers requesting direct Stage tuning, the process is as follow:

All cars are custom tuned. There is no generic Tune, except in starting off the tuning process.

1) A base ROM is drop in, which is really a fact finding rom for the car's stability. Once this has been found, the Ign Advance & Fuel maps are scaled. Some others maps like AVCS and a few others are modded. Sometimes it takes a couple reflashes to get the car running happy on the pump gas. At this stage, we are really performing a PT v1 tune.

Also during this tuning scenario, the customer is thought how to listen for knocking and general driving habits to help with tuning. Example, after a reset or reflash, how to drive the car to Synchonise the AVCS/VVT.

The customer is thought how to help tune in general. Throttle used, load bearings and so on. Also included it map explanation for his understand. Educating the customer helps resolve issues and satisfy their needs quickly.

2) After the PT v1 tuned is stablised, boost is increase to a certain amount and more tuning is perform until the target boost is achieve. This process can take a few reflash until stability is reach, where the car is then stress test for any logging issues. Once the results needed are achieved, general driving is perform to make sure this aspect of driving is economical, smooth and safe.

3) The customer is given the car to drive and logging is done to make sure all is good. The customer is requested to return the next day or so, giving the ECU time to learn and adjust to the environment and the customer's driving habits. On returning, more logging is done and reviewed.

4) Follow up with the customer occurs every couple of weeks. At this point, there is a relationship that exist with the customer that follow up becomes the normal.

Customer service to the customer is very important and is put first before anything else.

If there is anything outline here that needs further explanation, please PM or email me.
