Got my version 0.0 Xtreme Racing Tuning tune logged and loaded an hour ago, and man is it a nice difference so far !
Shifts firmer sooner and smoother ! and the lock up seems to engage much sooner :-)
also my engine light (due to no cat) was turned off
so far this is way better than the cobb stage 2 off the shelf and we are just getting started. much props to ED at XTR ill keep you guys updated on my coming versions as well as 0-60 comparisons of XTR vs Cobb vs Stock

car is an 05 outback 2.5xt with tsudo up pipe, Invidia turbo back w a random technology high flow cat, a cobb sf intake w box, and perin inlet hose

Feels great so far, trans shifts much firmer and stays out of 5th better on hills.
Really pulls hard in sport mode and when manual shifting it seems quicker to respond.

Wow Got my V3.0 Loaded and just raced my buddys Stage 2 02 WRX, and it was ridiculous! even without power braking it i had him by 5 car lengths before we hit 50mph. it looked like he wasn't even trying! Edward your tunes are Insane

it is so perfect now feels like a much lighter car, the passing gear kicks in at the perfect time for highway. its a very tame and capable machine in Drive, And when you put it in Sport it is crazy it revs the gears out in a way i could never imagine all while only giving it 1/3 Throttle. the manual shifting is almost instant now as apposed to the sec delay when stock, It also fels like i am more conected to the wheels all of that mushy feeling you get when you rev a 5eat is gone its truly feels like a stick now and is a blast to drive in any mode :-)

also Edward was able to Diagnose bad plugs from my V1 logs that i have since replaced. the car was just at a Subaru Specialist Shop for a replacement engine and even they overlooked that in person !

this is truly worlds ahead of the Cobb tune i had previously

I'm not very tech savy and He has been able to remotely load my tunes over the internet. all i had to do was turn on the key and hook up the wires under the dash

on more amazing fact is that my Cobb tune was running well over 16psi with creep up into the 18's . i have seen graphs of my logs and im only running 14-15 psi now with very slight creep up to 16. that is just nutz that he is getting way more response and power with considerably less Boost

In closing if you don't already have an XRT tune, Stop saving for any other mods and pony up for an Xtreme Racing Tune, esp if you have the 5EAT !

Hello every one Update on my xrt tune as quoted above, from my end the car has felt great from V0.0 all the way to V6.0 each tune has been better than the last. Edward was able to diagnose mechanical problems better than the shop that just did my replacement engine. he had initialy told me to check for pre turbo exhaust leaks, and bad plugs, because the logs were suspect. I initialy replaced the plugs , and they were very bad, he was spot on there. i then recieved my V4 and Edward was still seeing a bit of ping so he insisted i re check the exhaust, I found a masive leak at the header to uppipe gasket. it was missing a 3rd of the gasket. after fixing this leak the car was running very strange i was even hitting fuel cut ! its hard to believe he was tuning around a leak that big and still getting great response and power! I let him know and he had me a new Rom ready for me in less than an hour, which was amazing cause i had to drive it for work. The V5 after the leak fix was incredible ! it spools so much faster now, I got my V6 loaded this afternoon and it is right on the money. So very happy with the services at XRT, ive already got a buddy with a WRX headed his way for Edward to work his magic. truth is he will need it to keep up with me these days :-)

also guys an added bonus Edward has a line on custom Turbochargers that will Maximize the potential of these engines with zero negative effects, ibeleive they are almost 20g equivalent but spool faster than vf40, they are very affordable, and can even be used on a bone stock engine no mods besides turbo and tune not even injectors

so folks in closing from Mild to Wild XRT is where its at ! i will deff be back for more as my mod list gets bigger and wouldn't dream of letting anyone else touch my ROM

Thank you Edward Thank you Very much

Wow just tested my 0-60 after loading V7.0 and it is unreal 5.2 seconds !!!!!
with the same setup and a Cobb stage 2 tune it was 5.76 seconds
thats a full half sec faster to 60

for an Auto with a small vf40 i am quite impressed
best mod ever!

hey guys just wanted to check in and let you guys know i'm still loving my xrt tune, i even took it to a very prestigious trans shop, Meenan transmittion where i used to work and had my old boss drive it. he owns an 05 legacy gt with stage 2 parts a dyno tune and a transgo shift kit, he uses his LGT as an sca race car for driving instrucing. he very much aprooved ! and had a blast ripping it around, he said it pulled just about as hard as his an that the DBW tune was a great improvement over stock feel, both the pedal feel as well as the way the trans shifted, he said it wasn't quite as firm as a full on shift kit but reccomended both together. all and all a very worth while modification especialy when the price of a shift kit and dyno tune are way more than double the cost of Edwards service. much props to xrt, i will be back for more soon when i get some more parts installed !
